Anne Hoekema

As a young entrepreneur Anne’s passion is to work in cultural organizations. New digital technology adds many possibilities to the cultural sector for innovation. This adds too, and might be a necessity, for the function of art and culture in society: to challenge, confront and inspire the public.

Anne has a Bachelor’s degree in Art and Economics at the HKU University of the Arts in Utrecht. For her final thesis she performed research on a new marketing concept for theatres. Anne worked for different cultural organizations such as Dommelgraaf & Cornelissen Entertainment, Het Tropenmuseum, DanceMixTheatre, Het Residentie Orkest, Grachtenfestival, Het Nationale Theater. As an entrepreneur I like being busy with marketing, research and the development of creative and strategic concepts.
