Lilla Vonk

Online communication specialist at INTK

Lilla has gained experience in the cultural sector while working for an organization that supports cultural heritage on a provincial level. During her time there, she worked closely with many different cultural organizations and she experienced how crucial it is for these organizations to have good visibility online, and to be represented well on digital platforms. She is particularly interested in how organizations can translate policies regarding their inclusivity to their digital channels. By approaching online environments with a critical eye and the user in mind, Lilla makes sure target audiences are reached and accommodated.

Lilla specialized in archeological heritage during her Research Master at Leiden University. Before her time in Leiden, she obtained a Bachelor’s degree in art sciences at the Sorbonne University in Paris and a Bachelor’s degree in Classics and Ancient Civilizations at VU Amsterdam. During her studies, she developed an interest in issues concerning wellbeing and inclusivity. Her graduate research explored the effects of participating in an archaeological activity on the “in the moment” wellbeing of people who are living with dementia.
