Centre Céramique

The information and communication center of the city of Maastricht.

At Centre Céramique a part of the archaeological collection of the municipality of Maastricht and the LGOG is to be seen. Highlights are a Celtic coin treasure from Amby, Roman sculptures found in the Maas and several Merovingian burial finds. The centre also displays parts of the Limburg and Maastricht archaeological and glass collections. The well-known Model of Maastricht from 1752 is installed in the Centre Céramique.

Part of the exhibition space is reserved for changing exhibitions. The exhibitions at Centre Céramique, such as the annual World Press Photo exhibition, cultural and historical exhibitions such as 'De Dorst van Maastricht' and children's exhibition on Fiep Westendorp, have become well known in and around Maastricht.

The library is also located in Centre Céramique and there are plenty of activities: courses, lectures, children's activities, concerts and much more.
