Nina Kuijsten

Online communication specialist at INTK

Nina’s wide area of interests has caused her to be a fan of the varieties that the cultural branch has to offer since she was young. She’s motivated to learn more about the way certain messages and images influence the public’s behavior and decision-making and to use this knowledge to develop marketing strategies which encourage people to enjoy the cultural branch on a more regular base.
Nina has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Twente, and two Master degrees from the same university in Psychology of Conflict, Risk & Safety and Communication Studies (specialized in marketing). During her studies she conducted a board year in which she was responsible for, among other things, the newsletter and event promotion. For her master theses she researched the influence of smartphone use on student household dynamics and the influence of news articles on citizens’ trust in the Ministry of Defense.
